Life on the Stage

Life on stage is somewhere I probably don't belong, and I'm okay with that.

As much as I daydream about being in the spotlight, being a good actor, making people laugh, making people gasp, all those things belong right where they are- in my mind.

I know what really holds me back when it comes to acting though- I'm embarrassed and self-concious because I know I'm not the best actor around. No one enjoys being the center of attention for the wrong reasons.

I want to be brave and take that step forward,
I want to not care if I make a fool out of myself.

But then again...all easier said then done.

Lights, Camera, Action!

Working backstage on Metamorphoses is definitely something I enjoyed doing very much. Designing costume and making props is plentiful.

Recently I've been assigned the task of working the stage lights for the play and I'm having a blast. It's a good experience and plus I get to see the entire play!

Metamorphoses is really coming along, and I'm excited for opening night.
It's not an easy task to pull off- all that time, effort, and dedication everyone has to put in is no easy feat.

Now I just hope know that the people that come to watch the play have as much fun as I have watching it.
